We are finding our rhythm over here for 2 weeks already. It’s a whole different world: Western, natural, wild, simple, small, our own property with so many beautiful trees, space, birds, magnificent sky, rain, red earth and stones against the green trees.
We wake before sunrise and welcome the day and the pink/blue colors in the sky. Cool air, moisture on the earth from the rain.
It’s peaceful, tranquil, each day different, fresh.
The people are very friendly, open, welcoming, natural, approachable, real.
Nature is the star here, plus the slow pace. It’s a place to unwind, let go, relax, recharge, tap into your most basic, authentic self, ground your spirit.
It’s a spiritual place.
It’s the beauty and the quiet that I love, need, crave, adore.
It’s a very old town with so much history; an enduring landscape and vistas, different cultures of Pueblo people, Spanish, Mexican, White, Jewish and their traditions.
