An Article/Video About Life Transitions

This is little 3 month old Lakota Joy the first week we adopted him. The Vet said his feet couldn’t touch the sidewalk until he was vaccinated, but he was still too young.

I was dying to take him on our public sidewalk, to show him off as the proud Mama I was, and begin his socialization with other dogs and people.

So we bought this stroller on Amazon and tried it out in the house.

At 6 months and 45 pounds now, it’s amazing how fast he has grown, especially over here in Santa Fe.

Little did I know he would HATE the stroller. We only went a block and he was miserable! Little Aussies are born to gallop free and herd or chew anything in sight!

He is in his glory in Santa Fe.

This is a day of transition for our family. My 2 grandchildren are now 18, graduated high school, and starting their college life today. A new chapter – fulfilling their destinies of growth and a new chapter in their lives.

Remember when they were babies, toddlers, totaling dependent on their parents?

This is a day of mixed emotions for their parents – who must make their own transitions of letting go, dealing with change, facing their own growth challenges.

Since the day we are born we pass through many phases, transitions, challenges for the Self.

Who am I? What is my destiny? Why do I have to go through this?
What do I do with my fear, self-doubts, pain, unanswered questions, feelings of sadness and depression, reluctance to change?

Our lives are a series of transitions. Some we choose, some are thrust upon us; some we love, others we hate.

This is our common denominator.

Lakota and I send Love, Support, and Encouragement to all those who are facing Life transitions. Anxiety is always part of the package, but so are Excitement, Joy and Growth.

Believe in yourself. You can do it!
You were born able to do it!
